OPEN POSITIONS

Registered Nurse

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assessing and evaluating potential clients
  • If needed, secure written orders from a client’s healthcare provider, which must be renewed every 3 months unless the healthcare provider specifies otherwise, or when the needs of the client have changed.
  • Developing, reviewing, and revising care plans.
  • Interpreting care plans to caregivers.
  • Conducting home visits.
  • Promptly reporting changes in the client to the client’s healthcare provider and representative.
  • Developing time and service reporting procedures for personal care workers and training them on the use of any devices or mechanisms.
  • Hiring, orienting, training, and evaluating employees.
  • Providing written instructions for personal care workers on specific tasks and responsibilities and demonstrating how to perform the tasks or responsibilities.
  • Supervising employees and contractors
  • Attending industry events, organizing community programs, and developing relationships with the community
  • Staying in touch with industry trends and standards and changing laws
  • Ensuring compliance
  • Handling other responsibilities as per the needs of Unique In Home Personal Care LLC, including providing direct care.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • Must be in possession of a current licensure
  • Must have verifiable training and experience in the delivery of personal care services or related services.
  • Must have worked as a Supervisor or an Administrator for one year or more in a personal care agency or a related setting.

Other Requirements

  • Must read and write English well and must be fluent in the language.
  • Must be conversant with industry laws.
  • Must portray leadership and industry knowledge skills.
  • Must be a quick thinker and can make ethical decisions.
  • Must be willing to take an initial Criminal Background Check and occasional ones upon employment.
  • Must take a TB Test and other applicable health screenings as instructed.

Personal Care Worker

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Performing personal care tasks as per the care plan and as advised by the RN.
  2. Documenting each task delivered and making a written report for the RN after each visit.
  3. Promptly making a report to the RN if the condition of a client changes.
  4. Updating the RN frequently concerning the progress or situation of a client.
  5. Practicing infection control measures according to the guidelines given by the U.S. Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention during the course of delivering care.

Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years old or older
  • Must be specifically and adequately trained in each task assigned during orientation and every 12 months thereafter during the course of employment or working relationship.
  • Must have verifiable proof of training or competency in terms of certificates and training material for record keeping.
  • Must have first aid training and CPR.

Other Requirements

  • Must not be a legally responsible relative of any client assigned
  • Must be of good health as demonstrated by the pre-employment health screening procedure.
  • Must possess strong ethics, be an excellent communicator, have people skills, and be able to speak, write, and understand English well.
  • Must have TB Skin Test and other applicable health screenings as instructed
